6 Bizarre Objects You Will Become VERY Intimate With Once You Give Birth (PHOTOS)

giving birthEvery mom-to-be dreams of the day she finally gives birth and holds her beautiful baby in her arms -- but nine times out of ten, no one bothers to tell moms about the whole slew of strange and wacky objects that are about to become part of their daily routine after delivering.

Sure, they give you diapers, blankets, and hats in the hospital -- but you get a bunch of other freebies too, which are interesting, to say the least.

I know after my son was born, I was embarrassed and also a bit horrified by some of the things waiting for me in my hospital room. (No, really. I'm still traumatized seven years later.)

Check out the photos below to see six bizarre things you'll come to know all too well after having a baby whether you like it or not.

Since I ended up with a c-section I use the squirt bottle to rinse shampoo from my baby's hair.

I never got hemorrhoids with either baby. I did LOVE the mesh panties.

The only thing I used was the mesh panties. I had a c section

I totally took those panties home, and the nurses were nice enough to give me extra pairs. Weird but wonderful

I feel so weird because I had never seen those mesh undies when I had my son. The hospital I delivered at told me to bring my own underwear never thought anything of it (?).

I used the tucks pads and the sitz baths, but for relief from my stitches from the episiotomy. Not hemorrhoids. Also, the nurse would fill a special maxi pad with ice chips and I swear it was heaven.

All the more reasons Im completely happy with having had a c-section both pregnancies. Aside from the mesh panties (which I never got (or had?) to wear) all of those things stayed in a closet in my room. Thank God lol

I didn't have the sitz bath or the donut.. guess I got lucky with my two boys of not needing those two items. I had actually forgot about most of the other stuff I had to use after giving birth and exactly how much I felt like I was on fire in lower stomach and that area.lol.. all those cooling devices plus this super thick aloe lotion my nurses brought me to use on my stomach were so amazing and helpful. I still have some of that lotion left from each delivery I had. Think it was pretty much the only two times in my life I felt like others were really taking care of and waiting on me..

Was not a fan of the squirt bottle >.< But man the mesh panties hell yeah LOVED them got extra to take home. It was nice to be able to breath down there after all that.
