'RHOBH' Kyle Richards Wants to Be Pregnant Again Because Halle Berry Is

Kyle RichardsWhen Kyle Richards opened her clothing store on this past season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she said that it was finally time -- after raising four daughters -- for her to do something for herself. At 44, she'd finally left the diapers behind and was ready to move on into this next stage of life ... only now she seems to be having second thoughts. And it's all Halle Berry's fault.

She recently told Hollywood Life that four just isn't enough, and she wishes that she had gotten pregnant again right after having her daughter Portia, who is now 4. She said, "Ever since Halle Berry [became pregnant], I have to say never say never, now that she is pregnant and she is older than me, then you never know."

Let's face it, it's difficult not to look at the gorgeous, glowing Halle Berry and not want to be her. If she can get pregnant at 46, surely we all can too. Why not?

Well, there are a lot of reasons. Namely, because the chances of getting pregnant naturally at her age are slim to none. Berry has said it was a surprise, but she hasn't denied using artificial methods to get her surprise. While it's her business, it also feels like a bit of a disservice to women if she's not forthcoming about how she got pregnant.

Not to mention there are plenty of risks, and frankly, kids are exhausting. Does Kyle really want to start over at her age? Sure they have money for nannies, but Kyle seems like a pretty hands-on mom who does most things herself.

She seems confident in her abilities, however. "I work well under pressure -- I can handle that," she said. "I can drive, fax, and breastfeed all at the same time." Let's hope the cameras are rolling if she does that!

Look, Kyle and Mauricio clearly make gorgeous children, and they appear to be loving and devoted parents. So if they want another baby, I think that's great. Let's just hope they (and all of the other women out there looking at Halle Berry with pregnancy lust) really consider the implications of having another baby at this stage in the game, and don't do it just because Halle Berry is.

Do you think Kyle Richards will actually have another baby?

If she does get pregnant again and it's only because Halle Berry is, then she doesn't have the brains I gave her credit for. Just because someone older than her got pregnant isn't a good enough reason to do it herself. However, if she does get pregnant, I hope she'll have a safe and healthy pregnancy and then STOP!

No....its all for publicity....now Bravo can air her struggle (sic) to conceive, then she can cry and all the housewives will console her....Boo hoo....Im sure Taylor will even try to make that all about her

If you are over 40 and want a baby...first think of the ramifications. The child could be born with a birth defect or something worse. If you MUST have a child....adopt one! There are hundreds of kids out there who need a good home! But do it for the right reasons....not because a celebrity is having one...do it because you have the love , the money and thewant to nurture a child !

There are many ways for women to have children that decrease the risk. Most women over 45 are using donor eggs. This is also true for women suffering from premature ovarian failure. If adoption is the option for them make it for everyone. Nobody have babies and adopt those already here...stop overpopulation. Ironically most people who set those criterion for having kids usually didnt practice what they preached and had their own children. Its nobody's business, just know the truth about fertikity and age.
