As if the national dialogue surrounding Kim Kardashian's baby weight couldn't get any more insane, Life & Style has published a report that is beyond appalling, offensive, ridiculous, cringe-worthy, etc. Their sources claim Kim is deliberately trying to gain excess weight in order to lose it in a profitable diet deal. Oh yes, they went there! Their "insider" claims, "I wouldn’t put it past her to blow up just so her weight loss is more dramatic. The way diet company deals are structured, bonuses are often built in for losing more weight in a shorter period of time.”
There's no other way to put it: This story is just plain sick.
I can't imagine how any mother would intentionally pack on extra pounds while pregnant. To overeat or treat her body like a garbage dump, because she'll make extra bank once she gives birth. Why would you put your own health and your baby's health at risk like that for pure greed?
To assert that's what Kim's up to is beyond vile. It's not like the woman isn't already in extremely awesome financial shape. It's also not like she isn't running to the gym every chance she gets -- likely in an attempt to have a pregnancy that's as fit and as healthy as possible.
Furthermore, any weight loss company that would even be comfortable with -- let alone reward -- a woman going out of her way to get heavier while pregnant so as to make for a more sensationalistic success story is nothing short of reprehensible.
Bashing a pregnant woman's body is one thing. Asserting that she's abusing it for financial gain is a whole new level of evil. All in all, this gossip is mindbogglingly disgusting and out of control. If I was momager Kris Jenner, I'd tell Kim that she really should consider holding a press conference, in which she tells everyone enough is enough.
How sick is this?!
