Mom Has Sweetest Reaction to Daughter's Surprise Pregnancy Announcement (VIDEO)

Awww! 25

People get plenty creative these days when telling friends and relatives they're pregnant. From scavenger hunts to special cakes, it seems everyone wants to reveal the news in their own special way.

WetPaint recently posted a video of a couple surprising her parents with pregnancy news that's straight up amazing. Their method isn't flashy or incredibly unique -- they just give her mom a gift, then tell her that another one will be coming in November. But when her parents realize what that means, they erupt into pure, spontaneous joy. The mom's reaction in particular is so enthusiastic, it will make your day.

How sweet is that? The video was actually posted to YouTube several years back, but it's resurfaced again recently because it's just that great. I can only imagine what wonderful, loving grandparents they are now to this child who they were so excited about from day one.

When I was pregnant, we didn't do anything too creative to announce our news since we were cautious after miscarriages. But I still remember how excited we were to share the news, and how much better and more real it felt when we felt the love and excitement of those around us too. I only wish we'd been prepared enough to record the moment on video so we could watch it again.

How did you announce your pregnancy to family and friends?

We gift wrapped a peach and when they opened it and looked confused we let them know thats was the current size of their grandchild. I think I was 13 or 14 weeks.

I've seen this video before, and it melts my heart every time. The dad is such a sweetheart! "God love ya!"

Awww, that's sweet! I don't have any fun memories of sharing the news like this. With my first pregnancy, we didn't tell anyone until I was in the ER having a m/c. With my next two pregnancies, my immediate family basically found out when I was in the ER for bleeding again (luckily, those two held on!) And with my third, I 'fessed up' around 13 weeks, knowing that no one was going to be happy since it interfered with a family wedding on dh's side and my family had long since told me that I would be stupid to get pregnant again, given my history of complications.

Freela,  I know your family was "trying" to look out for you.  Their comment stung me.  I would never say that to my sister who has a fertility problem and a problem carrying to term.

We had his family over and was having a very normal conversation and my husband just blurted out (in the middle of a conversation), "Jen's pregnant". The entire conversation stopped and looked at me. I couldn't believe he said it that way and said so. When I confirmed they all screamed and hugged us. We had been trying for a year with no luck.

I never answered the question.  I just blurted it out to everyone.  I am infertile and I was keeping my efforts (this time) to myself.  Everyone was just so happy and supportive.

For my first one we didnt have any specal announcement because it was a shock. With my second me and my husband went to my dad's house and told him and then the 3 of us went to my mom's house unannounced and pretended like we weren't excited and then said "Well...we have some news to tell you..." and she was getting worred and she was like "What??" and then i smiled and said "Christian's going to be a big brother!!" she cried! I thought it was pretty fun.)
