dujour coverThere are certain things you ALWAYS expect from Kim Kardashian: a turbulent love life and the tightest, booty-contouring clothes you've ever seen. In fact, her wardrobe is more critical to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians drama than her stepfather Bruce Jenner or little bro Rob. Even now that she's pregnant, the reality star tells DuJour magazine she refuses to wear a more comfy, bump-friendly wardrobe. Her silly reason why?

According to Kim, her body type requires form-fitting fashions. Apparently, no other style on the planet looks good on her. She mostly blames her boobs, saying that if she doesn't silhouette their ample curves, she looks huge. She added that her sisters, on the other hand, can get away with a wider range of clothes because Khloe is tall and Kourtney is very petite. Hmmm. Not sure we are buying that, Kim.

Honestly, I think the girl must enjoy feeling like she's trapped in a sausage casing. She will only feel more stuffed into those clothes as her belly -- and various other parts -- expand during her pregnancy. Being a mom-to-be is a beautiful thing -- but it can also be an extremely uncomfortable one. Sure, early on you can get away with a lot of your pre-pregnancy faves. But from my own experience, the more pregnant I got, the more puffy and bloated I felt some days. I swear there were times I wished my entire wardrobe was made of spandex and elastic. I bristled at the thought of wearing anything constricting. I imagine Kim will have those moments too. She owes it to herself to worry more about how she feels than how she looks.

Don't get me wrong. I love her typical, headline-grabbing style, but this time in her life should be more about comfort than jaw-dropping couture. Plus, with her access to the greatest designers in the world, I find it hard to believe that she can't find something cute yet functional.

Do you think Kim can pull off a skin-tight pregnancy wardrobe?
