She's already vowed on national television not to go overboard and gain too much weight with her second pregnancy, but new photos of Jessica Simpson's huge baby bump look very similar to those taken while she was expecting baby Maxwell.
This shot of her was taken back in November of 2011, and it was clear that pregnancy was starting to take its toll on her body at that point. And with the new photos published by TMZ, it appears as though she's on the same path to putting on a decent amount of weight with this baby, much to her dismay, I'm sure.
And I know she's pregnant and she should be able to just enjoy herself since this is the one time in her life when she really doesn't have to worry about her weight. She lost it the first time, and she'll lose it again, I'm sure, but still -- it has to be bothering her just a tad.
There are several reasons why my son is an only child. I'd be lying if I said one of them wasn't the fear of blowing up like a whale all over again and having to work my butt off for a year to get rid of the 50 (or more) pounds I'd probably gain again with a second pregnancy.
And I know there are plenty of people who have had different experiences from pregnancy to pregnancy, but I also have had several friends who have had to deal with the same symptoms with each one too, some of which aren't too pleasant to go through.
From insane morning sickness to heartburn and hemorrhoids from hell to gaining a ton of weight -- it really seems like for the most part, whatever "pregnancy genes" you get tend to stick with you and follow you each time you conceive.
Unfortunately for Jess, no matter what she does differently with baby number two, it doesn't look like she's going to catch any major breaks in the weight gain department. Oh well, she might as well just go ahead and indulge and at least try to make the best of it, right? (Go for it, honey. You'll lose it again. I promise.)
If this is not your first pregnancy, has it been any different?

I would imagine that most of her dismay would come from the things mean spirited petty people like you say about her weight.
Agreed she is small in stature she will fill out more than a taller person.
You are just horrible. She is a beautiful woman who has a lovely little girl, a wonderful fiancé, and a crazy successful career. She's fine. Maybe you should try and figure out why you have to be so critical of celebrity mommys (this is the second ridiculously critical article from you today). You are why the stereotype of women not being supportive of other women exist.
Wow, rude much? She looks fine...you must have looked like a VS model while you were preggo if you think she looks bad.
Why do people need to talk about Jessica's weight all the time. Just imagine hearing the same nasty comments over and over again for the last 10 years. Let her enjoy the pregnancy and the wonderful gift she is about to receive again.
This blogger is ridiculous! She's too caught up in the Hollywood version of beauty and perfection. Perfection doesn't exist lady! It's the imperfections that make us beautiful. Leave Jessica alone. She's pregnant and doesn't need flack from ignorant people like you. Women are resilient, we bounce back! That's what we do. (Even those with more than one child!) We are capable of that. I'm sure you are setting a good example for your child being a grown up bully. Hate and intolerance is learned. I'm sure you are teaching them both well!
