I don't think Amber Rose wants other mommy friends. The incident that has brought me to this conclusion? Well, her latest tweet is something that no mom-to-be wants to hear from another pregnant woman.

Recently the model, who is expecting her first child with rapper Wiz Khalifa, tweeted a photo of her huge belly and brags, "9 months pregnant & no stretch marks on my body thank you Jesus!!! :-)" She's not lying. You can't see a railroad track anywhere on her. It's amazing. She looks fantastic. And therein lies the problem.

Pregnancy is not a sexy or chic time for most of us. Yes, we are happy. We glow -- kind of. But it's hard to feel beautiful, at least in the way we did before the second trimester. Weight gain is just one of the various, annoying symptoms of impending motherhood. For some, feet grow a full size, the nose spreads, and their breasts get huge. Then there are those dreaded stretch marks nearly every woman ends up with. It literally changes the way we think of bikinis for the rest of our lives.

If I sound envious of Amber, well, I am. But that doesn't mean I am not happy for her. I think she is gorgeous and all around fabulous. But I can see that. She doesn't need to tell me that. So I think it's fair to say that moms who have "pretty" pregnancies should just keep their mouths shut out of respect -- or pity -- for the rest of us.
