She's back! After Duchess Catherine spent a few weeks vomiting profusely, she's evidently on the mend and has resurfaced. Due in July, the pregnant Kate Middleton took a hush-hush stroll through Kensington Gardens with her dog and a security detail then popped into a Starbucks for a coffee and a cookie. And, you guys, she ordered it herself, she was smiling, and wait for it, she paid with a Starbucks gift card. Gah! Somebody hug me.
Can you guess what someone who's gestating a future (and literal) Prince or Princess orders?
An onlooker told Us Weekly that Kate "looked beautiful" (I mean, natch) and ordered a grande decaf skinny latte and, like I mentioned, a cookie. Her security guard waited with the "well-behaved" dog outside while Kate, who's evidently a regular at this Starbucks, got her coffee fix.
I'm not sure why I'm so enamoured with this whole scene, but it just sounds so delightful. Like, a pregnant "princess" at a Starbucks? I love it, especially after hearing about Kate's acute morning sickness. That shit sounded awful so it's great to see her out and about sans barf bag.
And, as most expectant mothers know, decaf was a wise choice for Kate. Not only is it "right" to avoid caffeine while pregnant, but could you imagine the outcry had she gotten something that wasn't decaf? The horror! The shame! The future King or Queen of England is going to be hyperactive!
In case you were wondering, the Starbucks spy couldn't spot a baby bump on Kate ... but it won't be long until she's showing, that's for sure.
Did you enjoy decaf coffee when you were pregnant?
