Choosing a baby name is tough stuff. And just when you think you found the perfect name that won't be too popular, along comes a Kardashian or Tina Fey who gives her kid the same name you gave yours. That's what happened to me with my Penelope. It made me cringe because the very reason I chose the name was because it wasn't popular. I'm a Michele and grew up knowing 83,647 other Micheles or Michelles and I didn't want that to happen to my daughter.
If you're looking for a name that you won't hear of anywhere, something a little more rare, then this list is for you. Check out these uncommon baby names, perfect for your unique little one.

Beatrice and Greyson. The other names are just plain terrible..... Though I can't use either of those names here where I live because the name law is really quite strict.... Sucks big time.
They are terrible and OLD ... Beatrice and Orson are you freaking serious!?
None of those names sparked anything with me... I will stick with the ones I've already liked since I was little. I don't really care how popular it is. My name is Ashley.. I once had 4 other Ashley's in a class. Guess what? We were all friends. Having the same name did make us any less significant.
Isn't Hans her husband's name? Lol.
When will people learn that naming a child is all about the child?? So many parents have this same attitude. "I want a unique name. I want a name that shows how clever I am. I want a name that nobody else has." I want. I want. I want.
What about what your child wants? What little girl is going to want to be saddled with a name like "Blanche"? That's something that you do to vegetables.
Kids WANT to be "normal". They WANT to be like other kids. I had a friend when I was little who was named Keleye. Yep. Her parents re-spelled "Kelly" so that it would be "unique". You know what? She HATED it. Nobody could pronounce it. Nobody could spell it. And it might sound silly to you "I want a unique name" mommies, but she couldn't find ANYTHING with her name on it. You know those stupid little personalized bike-licenses that they have in Toys R Us? The mugs? The pencils? Yeah, she couldn't have ANY of it. Oh, she could, if she got a generic one with the little stickers, but even then, half the time there were only two "e's" in the package.
THINK before you name your kid. Think about what THEIR life is going to be like, not how much praise YOU will get for coming up with the most "unique" name. Because that name might be "unique" now, but in a few years, people are going to look at you and say, "who would do that to their kid?"
