Poor Kim Kardashian. She's just now finding out that pregnancy is, like, hard and stuff. She says it's going fine so far. "I've felt no morning sickness but it isn't the easiest. People always say pregnancy is so easy and fun. It's definitely an adjustment. It's learning about your body, but I've felt really good."
Okay, who are these "people" who are always saying pregnancy is so easy and fun? I would like to meet these people, because as far as my own personal circle of friends and family is concerned, pregnancy has been easy and fun for exactly zero women. Ladies, who has been giving Kim this bogus information? Who does she know who's actually been preg -- OH! Kourtney!
I wonder if Kourtney has been painting this super-rosy portrait of pregnancy to Kim all along! I mean, I understand how some women would downplay the difficulties of pregnancy. No one wants to be THAT pregnant woman who complains all the time. We all try and put on a brave face because we know we're just doing what trillions of women have done before us. And pregnant moms-to-be are often super excited about their babies.

Kim's probably also seen all those photos of pregnant celebs in adorable maternity wear making duck lips and looking all blissed-out glowy. She's mistaken that pregnant glow for ease and fun. The only other way to get that glow is to get a face peel, and that's not exactly fun or easy, either.
Pregnancy isn't hell for everyone. Some people have it easier than other people. I'm sure there are women out there who've had relatively "easy" pregnancies. Some aspects of pregnancy are "fun." But just in case there's still a few women out there harboring fantasies, pregnancy is uncomfortable and challenging FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF WOMEN. Your body is making a person, for crying out loud. Prepare yourself mentally for that and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I'm definitely a part of the fun and easy pregnancy group. At 18weeks with my first, I haven't had any morning sickness to speak of, no headaches or leg cramps, and I actually lost weight during my first trimester. I know each pregnancy can be different, but so far I'm loving every minute of it. Not rubbing it in to those who had a different experience, but I know that I'm incredibly blessed to have it so good right now.
im sure that if she was told that being pregnant is really hard and women face a lot of complications that this article would be about bitching women for telling her that pregnancy isnt as easy as one says it is
my first pregnancy was the easiest thing i have ever done!! no morning sickness, nothing bad, by the next pregnancy i had all the above!!! it was very different than than i was expecting. sick just big has hell but i knew it was all worth it at the end with a beautiful 7lb 4oz little baby girl! the first was 8lbs and 15oz now how does that work?? LOL
I loved being pregnant with both of my wonderful kids. They were both easy for me. I would do it again in a heartbeat, I just don't want another baby. :)
