Exciting news for Teen Mom fanatics! Leah Messer announced on Christmas the gender of her third baby. It seems like just yesterday that Leah and new husband Jeremy Calvert shared that they are pregnant (it also seems like just yesterday that Leah was pregnant with twins Ali and Aleeah and married to Cory, but I digress). So! What's Leah having? She shared on Twitter that's it's another girl ... and if you ask me, that's some great luck right there.
Here's what she wrote:
Soo everyone, Ali and Aleeah is going to have a little sister. That is our Christmas present. Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas!
That's a great Christmas present, indeed -- a little girl's always something special. I'm sure Leah and Jeremy are thrilled with the news (how could you not be?) and can't wait to meet their daughter.

And from a practical standpoint -- other than the very real fact that girls rule and boys drool -- having a daughter is a real money saver for Leah and Jeremy. Already having female toddlers means that they have all the supplies, toys, clothes, and equipment for a little girl. No need to buy anything new, they've already got twice the amount of little girl stuff they'll need. What a nice bonus to the good news.
Also, Leah already knows how to raise little girls, which is another benefit. Not that she'd be lost or anything if she had a boy, but having another girl might give the young mom confidence knowing that she's been there, done that, twice.
Plus, having three girls is awesome. As someone with two sisters, it's really something special.
Congrats to Leah and Jeremy on their daughter due in the spring.
