Boy to Turn 12 on 12/12/12 at 12:12 P.M. (VIDEO)

OMG 14

Kiam MoriyaIt truly is almost unbelievable, but Kiam Moriya, a sixth grader from Birmingham, Alabama, has the birth certificate to prove it. He was born on  December 12, 2000, at 12:12 p.m. That means tomorrow he will turn 12 on 12/12/12 at 12:12 p.m. Amazing right?

Add to that the fact this is the last time for 100 years that we will see a date with all of the same numbers, and people are freaking out.  Most just think it's cool, while others see it as a sign of the Apocalypse, and Twitter has erupted with more than a few humorous musings about the boy's unusual birth date.

For example, @Coffin_Builder tweeted: "This child will probably be activated on his birthday. He is the one who will summon the AlIeNs http://t.co/RM6LLqy8"

I doubt that, but it is a pretty cool birthday to have regardless. He's a got a sure-fire conversation ice breaker for life, and it will be hard for anyone to ever forget his birthday.

More from The Stir: 6 Weirdest Places Women Have Given Birth

To some parents an unusual or standout birth date is something exciting that they want. Back in March when the chances of getting a baby born on 12/12/12 were the highest, there were plenty of people trying to time their births. And I'm sure there are more than a few people who have deliberately avoided some other less-than-desirable births, such as Friday the 13th or 6/6/6. Others either embrace holidays for births, or do anything in the power NOT to have a Christmas baby. Most of us don't think that far ahead.

The fact is, however, there's only so much you can do to get your baby a special birth date. Most of us are just stuck with any old day. And really, that's okay.

Does your child have an unusual birth date? Would you want him or her to?
