Kate Middleton is pregnant!
It's finally happened! The moment we all have been waiting 1 year and eight months has finally happened! Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant -- officially pregnant, not Star magazine pregnant -- with her first child! And OMG, I feel like it's me who's pregnant! According to the palace, the pregnancy is currently in its "very early stages", and although everything is fine thus far, earlier on today, Kate was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital for hyperemesis gravidarum -- severe morning sickness. Gah! Kate's really pregnant!

And sick, too. The Duchess -- she's just like us. Barfing her brains out. Thankfully, everything is fine, and it's just a bit (okay, more than a bit) of nausea.

Although she's been highly-scrutinized over the past few months for any signs of a tiny baby bump (and for toasting at an event in Singapore with water instead of wine), the news still comes as a shock. I mean, this is big. This isn't just going to be another celebrity tot -- this is going to be an heir to the throne. Next up is Prince Charles, then William, and then their unborn child. (Sorry, Harry.)

Wills and Kate enjoyed their childless married life longer than most royal couples -- it may not seem like a long time to some, but waiting over a year to conceive is equivalent to waiting ten in royal-time.

Whatever, though. Congrats, William and Kate. As ridiculous as this sounds, we really do love you! Can't wait to see what the next few months brings!
