Jessica Simpson Is Pregnant Again -- Looks Like She Didn't Have to Lose All That Baby Weight After All

OMG 15

jessica simpson pregnant againJessica Simpson is pregnant again. Yep. According to Us Weekly, less than seven months after she gave birth to the ridiculously adorable Maxwell Drew, the pop-star and her fiance, Eric Johnson, are expecting again. This pregnancy reportedly wasn't planned, but, unsurprisingly, Jess and Eric are "ecstatic."

Congrats to the happy couple! Yay babies! Yay parents! But I'm just going to say something here, because I know you're thinking it, too: So much for losing those much-talked-about 70 pounds!

Before we get into Jess's "highly-controversial" pregnancy weight gain, though, can we just discuss for a second the fact that she's going to have a 1-and-a-half-year-old and a newborn? I mean, I know people do it all the time (and it has to be a hell of a lot easier when you're as rich as Simpson), but hot damn, that sounds exhausting! But then again, so does a 2-year-old and a newborn. And a 4-year-old and a newborn? Gah, which is best?! One kid and a baby seems nuts, no matter which way you slice it! And being pregnant with a kid seems exhausting!

All right, now we can talk baby weight. Personally, I think it's a good thing that Jess lost the majority of what she gained (thank you, Weight Watchers!). I mean, you want to go into a pregnancy as healthy as possible. Buuuut. At the same time, it kind of seems like a lot of her work was for naught. She's going to "have" to start this process over again in nine months of so.

But hey, the upside is Jess will probably get some sort of endorsement deal again, which will only make her and her family all the more rich. So there's that. Stars: They're just like us. Only the opposite. Because they get to make money off of gaining, and then losing, weight!

Congrats, Jess and Eric. Can't wait to see what adorable little human you create this time. Maxwell's going to be hard to top. Just sayin'.

How close were your pregnancies?

Hopefully she will use common sense this time and not gain a huge amount of weight. If she eats right she won't have 70lbs to lose this time.

My first two pregnancies were that close together. It was hard for awhile but now that they are 7 and 5.5 they are best friends and I love it. I feel sad that our 1 year old won't have a sibling so close in age to play with.

I thought she wanted to get married after Maxwell was born and she lost the weight...

My kiddos are 20 months apart and it's been great so far. I gained 50lbs with my 1st and 35 with my 2nd.

I gained a lot of weight with my second child for some reason.  I didn't eat garbage food because I was never a junk eater to begin with.  My son was born 11 pounds 8 oz..

My 2nd and 3rd are 14 and a half months apart. Good luck getting any sleep jessica! Hopefully she controls her eatting because losing weight from the 2nd pregnancy is more hard. Especially if it didnt come off quick with the first.

Well considering I'm 9 months prego and ate whatever I wanted and only gained 6 lbs, no watching what you eat doesn't make a difference, it just so happens some people just get bigger than others!

I have 2 boys. I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd when my first baby was 3 months old. During my first pregnancy I gained 22 pounds and lost it all plus 10 pounds but I think I kept loseing weight after I lost my baby weight is cause I was already pregnant cause with my first one I lost 10 or 15 pounds before I started gaining but since I'm sort of on the heavy side my doctor wasn't concerned, with my 2nd I gained like 45 pounds. So now I have a 14 month old and a 2 month old (baby #2 was born 3 days before my first babys 1st birthday) and it is exhausting but I wouldn't trade it for nothing!! I love my boys and because they are so close in age (neither one of them were planned btw) I hope they will be really close and I know they will always have a playmate...

All three of my boys are about 2 years apart, my oldest is 4 (going to be 5 in April), my second is 2 (going to be 3 in December) and my third will be nine months next month. I gained TONS of weight with my first (not because of junk, but I had a LOT of water weight), my second I gained 30 something lbs and with my last I gained a significant amount of weight, and he was smaller than the other two. I ate a LOT of fruit and drank a LOT of water with him, so I'm not sure why I gained so much weight. However it really makes me mad reading some of these comments bashing her for her weight gain. Not all women eat garbage, don't judge because women gain tons of weight that's what's wrong with society now.

My first and second are 4 and some months apart and #2 &3 will be about 18 months
