Keeping "the girls" comfortable is a big issue for pregnant and breastfeeding moms, so I was interested to come across this alternative to cold cabbage leaves on CoolMomPicks. Blossumz Breast Therapy Packs are gel packs (they come with pretty covers, as shown above) that you can heat or cool and then put in your bra to combat pain or swelling -- they're intended for breastfeeding moms or women recovering from breast surgery, but it seems to me you could use them while pregnant and then into mommyhood, too. (I know my boobs began to hurt even before I knew for sure I was PG.)
What do you think? Would you try gel packs like these? What are your tricks for dealing with sore breasts while pregnant or breastfeeding?

My nurse in the hospital told me to put cabbage leaves on my breast. She said that it would help with the pain and swilling until my milk came in completely. I did not try it because the pain was not too bad for me. I would try these. I think it is a clever idea.
Other than my nipples bleeding when I first started nursing, I've had no pain, (Ok, I 've had a couple of clogged ducts that were pretty sore!) but these sound like the answers to a lot of other Mom's prayers!
Oh, and the Lansinoh cream was my savior for those nipples! I found it kind of annoying, though, as I'd have to try to keep uncovered forEVER for them to try enough so they wouldn't get my bra all gunky!
I would use those if I had them and needed them. But I've only ever had nipple pain. I would advise anyone whose milk hadn't come in NOT to use cabbage leaves however, because that's what you use to dry up your milk when you have weaned or have too much.
I would have used them back when I was pregnant. I heard about the cabbage leaves and was disgusted by the thought of using it. I wouldn't mind using those during my PMS either...
where do I get some of those and for how much?
Those look like they'd be nice!
