I guess even when you're pregnant, the show must go on -- because Snooki is still filming her reality show even though she only has a few weeks 'til baby Lorenzo arrives. She was spotted just yesterday shooting scenes for Snooki and JWoww -- and she definitely looked like she was about to pop. (But no, she still hasn't ditched the heels.)
She has to be feeling the weight of her growing baby bump, so is it really smart for her to be on her feet so much and continue filming even though she's so close to delivering?
I mean, it's not like she has a desk job that doesn't involve much more than sitting in front of a computer all day. Instead, she's traipsing around New Jersey in heels, which has to be taking its toll as far as feeling fatigued goes. (And the swollen ankles can't be fun either.)
Before I had my son, I made the decision to stop working for my entire third trimester. I slept in, watched talk shows, went to the mall, and did a whole lot of sitting around and doing nothing -- and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did I wind up with a very happy and healthy baby -- I also got a much needed break before diving head first into what was definitely the biggest transition of my life. I truly needed all of that extra energy during the first few months of his life, and had I worked right up until my due date, I don't think I would've been able to handle things as well.
I know she probably has a pretty firm contract with MTV and all, but if Snooki is smart (and I really think she is even though she puts on a good front), she'll at least seriously consider putting her feet up and taking advantage of a little rest and relaxation for the last couple weeks of her pregnancy. There will be plenty of time down the road for reality TV -- and something tells me she'll have no problem scoring another spinoff once she's officially a mom.
Do you plan on taking some time off before your baby arrives?

Good for you! Unfortunately, lots of women can't just drop what they are doing and quit working for their last trimester, due to contracts, finances or simply because they don't want to (GASP!). I still ended up with a happy and healthy baby, and I worked right up until I delivered... And another (GASP) I handled things fine, even as a single mom... No regrets. Quit telling this mama what she should and shouldn't be doing, and making predictions on what you think she'll be able to handle. Just because she's "traipsing around in heels" doesn't necessary mean she's doing some irreparable harm to herself or her son. Let her tackle pregnancy and childbirth on her own terms, rather than assuming what must be right... Isn't that ultimately what every mother should want for another?
And as far as taking a whole trimester off to lay around the house? Yeah, sounds totally plausible for the majority of women. Great suggestion. :/
Personally for me, my 1st pregnancy was a breeze, I was young and felt great, just like she is and I bet she feels great also~ and I bet if her ankles were that swollen she wouldnt go around in heels, I hv 4 kids, the 1st preg is usually so easy, why judge her cuz she is out and about in heels?? REALLY?? I mean she is about to be a "mother" and life isnt going to be the same after baby wheither she knows it or not...I think she knows exactly what she is doing and that is Y we are even dicussing this#TEAM SNOOKI!
