She seems to have had a fairly easy pregnancy thus far, but now Snooki is pretty bummed out about developing stretch marks -- a dreaded phenomenon that every pregnant woman absolutely despises. Nothing quite says, "Bye, bye pre-baby body!" like unsightly red stripes that make you look like you've been clawed by some sort of animal.
Snooki voiced her concerns about her changing body on Twitter and said, "I was praying to go thru this pregnancy w/ no stretch marks & KEWL there starting to come! Moisturizing my tummy like crazy!!!"
Luckily for Snooks, it sounds like she's on the right track to keeping those pesky marks at bay as much as she possibly can. I can remember slathering my growing belly with body butter in the hopes that I would somehow escape the stretch mark monster -- and believe it or not, it worked. Even though I put on a whopping 50 pounds, I managed to come out of pregnancy without one single stretch mark. I'm assuming this had something to do with the butter, though I can't be 100 percent sure.
However, if Snooki really wants to make sure her tummy stays Jersey Shore ready, here are a few tips for preventing stretch marks from developing any further.
1. Using oil with vitamin E -- Moisturizing is good, but oils keep the skin even more supple, and help stop stretch marks from appearing.
2. Drink plenty of water -- Keeping the skin hydrated is essential, so the more water you drink, the better.
3. Diet & exercise -- Staying fit and eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will help keep your weight in check, and the less you gain, the less chance there is of getting more stretch marks.
4. Cocoa butter -- If Snooki does decide to stick to a moisturizer, she should choose one with cocoa butter for the most effective prevention against stretch marks.
5. Massage -- Massage improves circulation, which helps maintain skin elasticity, so getting a pregnancy massage once in a while can't hurt.
Have you had to deal with stretch marks yet during your pregnancy?

Consider them "marks of honor." I have so many of them b/c I'm so tiny, yet my son weighed 10 pounds and 3oz. Yeah, big baby.. You either deal with the marks or get a tummy tuck.. I'm putting my money on Snookie getting a tummy tuck after the baby is born, for sure.
I am 33 weeks into my first pregnancy and I am having twins! I developed stretch marks on my breasts and theighs when I went through puberty so I thought for sure I would get them on my belly but so far I don't have a single stretch mark and I've already gained 60 lbs!! (I was 125 lbs, 5'5 to start with). The only thing I can acredit this to is that I never scratch my itching skin. I know girls that just scratch and scratch all day long and I think that really breaks down skin more. So I refrain from scratching which takes a lot of willpower but I think it's working considering I must be geneticly predisposed to stretchmarks if I already had some before pregnancy.
On another note, vitamin e oil & vitamin e and collagen infused lotions are AWESOME for preventing stretchmarks
Seriously, who the hell wrote this?! I mean, whoever did, knows nothing about pregnancy!
I got them; they aren't as bad as my mother's but I still got some. Why? I have genetic predisposition, that's why. I did every single thing this list recommends, but genetics triumphed over my preventive measures, no matter how fine or how small they are, I still got them.
1. I used a homemade mix of cocoa and shea butters mixed with coconut oil.
2. Four LITERS of water isn't enough?!
3. My intake during my whole pregnancy was between 1400-1900 calories a day and I still kept working out (I was fit enough to be able to do modified bench press 35 pounds; instead of laying flat, I'd lay on a 135 degree angle and I used maternity girdles), but that doesn't avoid a large baby nor avoids fluid retention. Again, it boils down to genetics; if your mom and her mom got big during pregnacy, you'll probably get big too no matter how much or how little you eat and workout.
4. Go to #1.
5. Massages don't hurt, but they don't prevent stretch marks.
The #1 item of my list had reduced the apperance of stretchmarks but still, I got them.
