Adele's Pregnancy Craving Is Weirdest We've Ever Heard (VIDEO)

AdeleOver the years, we've heard of plenty of strange pregnancy cravings from celebrities. From Alyssa Milano's annoyingly lame desire for more broccoli to Kirstin Cavallari's understandable penchant for Twix bars, it seemed we'd heard them all.

News of what singer Adele is craving, however, blows all the others out of the water. It's even more out there than Jessica Simpson and the inexplicable desire she had to eat Pop Tarts slathered in butter (gag!).

Any guesses as to what it might be?

It's country line dancing. That's right, it's not bizarre food that the songstress has suddenly found an appetite for, but rather she's been itching to get her boot scootin' boogie on big time.

A source told The Sun that she has even taken a line-dancing class and has purchased a DVD that she can do at home.

Adele attended a line-dancing class near her home. She’s got a love of country music from spending so much time in the US and Nashville so she thought it would be a good laugh to go along with a few friends.

Good for her! I grew up in Nebraska and lived in Texas for a time, and know a thing or two about a line dance. In fact, I once broke a bone doing so. As hokey as it may sound to rockers, it's actually a lot of fun, and I can see how it could be a great pregnant workout, as it's not (or doesn't have to be) all that intense. Sure country is a far cry from her usual music, but you never know where those pregnancy hormones are going to send you.

Of course, now the big question is if we'll eventually see any of her new moves when she gets back up on stage. I'm not holding my breath, but it could certainly add a new kick to her performances. Yeehaw!

What's the strangest pregnancy craving you have ever had?

This latest pregnancy is the only one with weird cravings. I keep wanting things like
Fried Okra covered with: mashed potatoes, nacho cheese, gravy and pickles. Or Sushi with Reeses PB cups.

By far the WEIRDEST craving I've had is the daily urge to smoke cigarettes and pot. I'm not a smoker of any sort and haven't had pot since high school a decade ago. It's sooo foreign and weird to me but the cravings are pretty intense. I just ignore them by deep breathing, and baking things; smelling the cooking aromas. I also suddenly cuss like a sailor, my vocab before peaked in 'vulgarity' @ "piss" and "sucks"....

I never liked country music much but when I was pregnant with my son that's all I wanted to listen too... and he is almost 7 months old and I'm back to only listening to it on occassion...

I had the craving for cleaning products. Of course I never did. My ultimate favorite thing to crave was urinal cakes. :)

Cleaning products, laundry soap, Comet, wet soapy towels and my tongue ring. The doc said my body was/is prob craving something else like iron since I'm severly anemic.

My mom served pop tarts slathered in butter for breakfast when I was very young. My mom considered butter a staple, like milk or eggs. I am overweight and have high bp now, and struggle every day to undo a life time of bad habits. :/

I had a bad ass Panera craving during my last pregnancy. I ate it 2x a day but somehow only gained 19lbs. Jeeze those are the best Choc chip cookies ever!

Olive Garden Salad dressing. I bought bottles of it with the first. Then with my second I craved beef. Which is odd for me. I could very easily be a vegetarian. But, all of a sudden I was eating big  juicy hamburgers. ANd when I was nursing that little guy I had to have a barbecue roast beef and cheddar sandwich on texas toast every day. Surprisingly, I do like beef now. Although I try to curb the cravings a lot more.

No super strange cravings, just really specific ones.

With my first I was due at the end of December, and I had been looking forward to getting Egg Nog Frozen Custard from Good Times when the appropriate weekend in November or December came along.  Only they didn't do it that year. :(  I even wrote a customer comment on their website saying something crazy like, "you're not going to make me go through my last month of pregnancy with no Egg Nog Custard, are you?"  I never received a response.  I also really liked the Marinara sauce at a particular Italian restaurant, and begged them on more than one occasion to let me buy jars of the stuff (they never let me).  Then they closed about a month before I was due.  I was very sad when I showed up to eat dinner to find out their doors were locked permanently.

Only other change was a complete & utter distaste for pickles.  (I used to be ok with them on occasion.)  I don't even want them on my plate where their juices might touch something I want to eat.  Ick.
