Rumors are swirling that adorable British singer Lily Allen -- who made headlines a few years back for two heartbreaking miscarriages -- has thrilling pregnancy news ... She's reportedly pregnant with her second baby! Lily and her artist hubby Sam Cooper are said to be "over-the-moon," and Lily's just past the three-month mark, making the baby's due date in December ... Just a smidge more than a year since they welcomed little Ethel Mary into the world.
Whoa -- do you know what this means? Lily's totally pulling a Tori Spelling!
Okay, maybe it's not quite the same, because Tori's shocking pregnancy news wasn't just that she got pregnant so quickly after giving birth, but it was also that she and Dean were taking a major step toward Huge Familyville by expanding their brood from three to four. Hearing that any woman has gone for a second kiddo -- even in such short succession after the first -- isn't as shocking.
A friend of Lily's told The Mirror:
It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it's great timing.
Aww! Even if she didn't plan on it, it does sound like Lily is cool with the idea of having her children be close in age. Perhaps because she and her brother Alfie are only about a year apart, as well, and judging by the fact that she actually wrote a taunting but loving song named after him, they're buddies!
Still, there are plenty of things a mom of kids born so close together will have to bear in mind ... For instance, Lily's likely going to need tons of diapers, a double stroller, and probably more than a few tricks up her sleeve to keep Ethel Mary happy at times when the newborn needs most of her attention. Ultimately, though, I'm sure it'll be more fun and exciting than stressful. Big congrats to the happy second-time parents-to-be!

No way is that for me though. There will be 4 years, 11 months between mine. I like the idea of at least 3 years spacing!

Some people like to have kids close together. I hope her pregnancy goes smoothly. Congratulations to the happy couple!
We're trying for our second and the age spacing would be around 1 year. I prefer the idea of having another baby while I'm already used to sleep deprivation.
I couldn't stomach the thought of changing poopy diapers while having morning sickness, nor could I face not spending enough time w/the first one while being miserable and then having to take care of a newborn; mine are almost 7 years apart.
Not to mention...two in diapers - and forget grocery shopping - w/2 kids in a cart where do you put the food? And then trying to put two in car seats while loading the car...it's just too much to handle.
Mine are 16 months apart and its great! You learn how to multitask-I can't think of anything that was overly harder going from 1 to 2. my kids are now 4 and almost 3 and starting to play pretty well together-its nice to have a constant playmate.
"pulling a Tori Spelling"?? Right. Like Tori Spelling is the only woman to ever have babies close together.And Huge Familyville?? WTF? Granted having more than 2 or 3 kids isn't for everyone but it's not like adding a 4 kid makes them on the same level as the Duggars! That is a HUGE family.
