We've all known she has a bun in the oven for quite some time now, and now Reese Witherspoon has finally confirmed her pregnancy after being open about her growing belly at an event in Chicago on Saturday night.

She told reporters she was feeling "very round," and added, "I'm always feeling like I'd like to eat everything in sight." Reese and her husband, Jim Toth, are obviously excited about adding another child into their family & giving her other two kids, Ava & Deacon, a sibling.

And while she probably decided to break her silence and admit she's expecting her third child simply because she couldn't really hide it anymore, it was still classy of her to wait this long to make any comments to the media.

So many celebrities are very open and vocal about their pregnancies, sometimes to the point that they really give out way too much personal and private information that the general public has no business hearing. I mean, celeb gossip is fun and all, but hearing about how and when their baby was conceived and having them blurt out every last detail about morning sickness & other unpleasant pregnancy side effects (a la Snooki & Jessica Simpson) can be a little too much information.

The joy of pregnancy is truly something that should be private between a couple, which Reese obviously figured out after having her first two pregnancies in the spotlight. It really takes away from the excitement and sense of intimacy a couple experiences upon waiting for the birth of their baby when every last detail is plastered in a magazine article.

Reese obviously has her priorities straight, and she picked exactly the right time to speak up and share her good news with the world. But as much as she's entitled to her privacy, let's hope she'll give us at least a few tiny details once her new bundle arrives. We're way too curious about baby number three to be kept in the dark for too long!
