I have this vision of how things are going to go when it's time to deliver my baby. With a few swift pushes, I will birth my perfectly healthy baby girl and hear her comforting cry moments after she enters the world. Then, before scoring a 10 on the Apgar test, she will be placed on my chest for a bout of peaceful bonding, where she will sleep soundly, enjoying her new time with her mom and dad. And we'll all live happily ever after. The end. However, I realize that visions and/or "plans" when giving birth are laughable. You need to be able to roll with the punches. You need to be ready for your 15-minute-old daughter to flip you off.
Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present to you the gorgeous, angelic, beautiful newborn girl ... who casually gave her father the finger just moments after being born. Seriously, this is the funniest thing you will see all day. Check it out.
And there you have it, folks. We can all go home now. There won't be anything better on the Internet today.

How hilarious is this? Was your birth as you envisioned it to be?

I love i!!! We had that happen with my oldest whenever he was nursing. Whichever hand was on top of my breast he was flipping people off with. My husband took some pictures of it. We used to joke that it was his way of saying 'back off people, these are mine!'
My daughter did that at a few weeks old. Hubs got a picture of it, and it's been his background pic on his phone for three years.. Boys.
My boys did that when they were born. It's not that funny - not that big a deal. I have pictures of at least one of them like that.
But maybe it is just my perspective. Where I lived in West Africa for a short time, that is the finger they used to point with (makes sense, it is the longest finger).
LOL!! "get that camera out of my face dad, I've had a hell of a day!!"
OMG, she's 15 minutes old foing on 15!!!! poor dad...
But many babies do it, they do, maybe as a warning, hahaha
That was funny as hell!!
My oldest did it and I didn't find it funny so I think it is mainly men that find it hilarious.
