Choosing a name for your baby is one of the most important things you will do. The name is for LIFE. Mess that up and your child is stuck with something terrible forever ... or until she grows up, legally changes her name, and never speaks to you again. But names are a delicate thing. I'd never bash a name choice ... mostly because I loved the names Nova, Sunshine, and Gypsy for my little girl. (My husband said no.)

I *love* Willow, and also Heather (how did that name not get on the list?). I could never do Petunia. I'm too much of a Potterhead!!
I also think the 'crunchy' names work better with girls. Catfish? Banjo??? Really??? To me, those names invite a pile of humanity on the playground. It's setting that kid up for a lifetime of name-calling and bullying.

anyway, I love them ALL, except Granola, Earth, Peace, Catfish, Patchouli, and Cosmic. Granola??? SRSLY??? That's the only one I thought was totally insane. And actually, Catfish is kinda growing on me! Patchouli seems silly, but I do like the nickname Patch!

95% of these are completely awful. Your kid has to make their way in the world, in whatever way they choose to, and saddling them with a name like Oak Patchouli is NOT going to make that easy. Use your imagination with your dogs, not your kids. JMO!

I have loved the name Willow since Buffy. I feel like if I'm blessed with another daughter though and I name her Willow people will think I'm naming her after Willow Smith. lol I also like Melody.
For the boys I only like Shea, Reed, and Nash. The rest of those....really? lol
