Tori Spelling revealed Monday via Twitter that she and her husband Dean McDermott are expecting a third child, something many had been wildly speculating over after the actress and reality star went to Sunday's GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles wearing a loose black dress.
This will be the third child for Dean and Tori, who together already have 4-year-old Liam and 2-year-old Stella, 2. Dean also has a son -- 12-year-old Jack -- from a previous relationship.
Tori broke the news when she tweeted:
I know there's been a lot of speculation, so I wanted everyone to hear from me... Its official...Dean & I are PREGNANT!!!!
No big shocks here, of course, and the couple couldn't seem happier with parenthood, with each other, and with life in general, so it's great. It also seems that Tori and her mother are on better terms after they had been estranged for so long.
So, yes, we should all rejoice and this is lovely news, but I can't help but be a little sad myself. Tori and I were on the same track with our babies every 18 months/2 years and now she is going on without me.
I want a third, too! OK, that is selfish. In fact, we should all be happy that Tori, who has had to fight a lot for her happiness after losing her dad, getting divorced from her first husband, being mocked in the media, and being accused of stealing Dean, has finally arrived at a place in her life where she can totally be herself and have a supportive family behind her.
Congrats to the whole family. Three is a very exciting (and nearly perfect) number of children.
Are you happy for Tori and Dean?
