All eyes will be on Natalie Portman on Sunday night. The mama-to-be and Oscar nominee has got to be a tad frazzled at this point. Preggers, boatloads of appearances and luncheons, and figuring out just how to dress that baby bump of hers.
And she's probably a little nervous. Should she be? Or is she a shoo-in for the win?
Film buffs everywhere know that baby bump could be her lucky charm.
She's played Darth Vadar's baby mama in the Star Wars movies and sang in Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You, but her work as ballerina Nina Sayers in Black Swan finally got Natalie some Oscar buzz. And it was swirling all around her even before the announcement of her pregnancy (and engagement to fellow Black Swan star, ballet dancer, and choreographer Benjamin Millepied).
If Oscar lore can be believed, the fact she is preggers may just tip the scale in her favor. Which nominated women carrying a bun in the oven have gone on to win? Eva Marie Saint (On the Waterfront), Meryl Streep (Sophie's Choice), Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener), and the fabu Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago).
However, getting all dolled up while knocked up doesn't guarantee a win, sadly. There have been quite a few nominated pregnant actresses knocked out of the winner's circle: Judy Garland, Glenn Close, Marcia Gay Harden, Cate Blanchett, and Natalie's fellow nominee this year Annette Bening.
Predictions are being thrown about left and right, many putting Natalie's name on the winning envelope, but you never know. And, really, isn't she a winner already with that bambino on the way?
Who do you think will win Best Actress on Sunday night?
