Joining the list of celebs that have used new techie ways to announce their baby bump, Alyssa tweeted the news with a "Yes, it's true!"

She and baby daddy David wed in August 2009 and got busy with the baby-making. She's due this fall, which means they were probably having some grand holiday fun last December. Alyssa isn't one to shy away from the fact that, at age 38, she wanted to get on The Baby Train sooner rather than later.

Who doesn't adore Alyssa Milano? From her early days on Who's the Boss to her stint on Melrose Place, Alyssa's been a fixture on my TV ever since I can remember. With this bundle of joy on the way, what's in store for our Charmed mama-to-be? And who's David?

Alyssa's probably turned to BFF and Charmed co-star Holly Marie Combs for advice -- Holly has three little ones, so she's an expert at navigating the whole preggers thing. Cravings? Alyssa might have a few, but I guarantee daddy-to-be David won't be making any late-night runs to In-N-Out Burger -- Alyssa's a vegetarian and has a soy allergy.

Since her latest show Romantically Challenged was cancelled last year, Alyssa has plenty of time to get ready for the babe's arrival. Post-baby, she can ease back into work at her own pace with guest spots here and there (who wants to see her back on Castle? Me too!) or maybe a TV movie. No worries about diaper money while she's on maternity leave -- David is a Hollywood agent at Creative Artists Agency, so he brings home some (tofu) bacon, too.

Thinking of a possible baby gift for the parents-to-be? A mini baseball and tiny mitt would be perfect -- Alyssa is a huge baseball fan. This sexy mama-to-be writes a blog for MLB and roots for the LA Dodgers. Those of us mamas on the East Coast won't hold that against her.
