Just because you're pregnant, you don't have to settle for a boring cotton nightie -- or worse, drawstring pants -- on Valentine's Day or any day. There are plenty of cute maternity options to make you feel sexy and help your husband look past that protruding bump. You just have to know where to look.
Hot Milk specializes in "sensual and sexy nursing bras." I never imagined that the two could go hand in hand, LOL, but they also have gorgeous maternity nighties. Check out this romantic satin nightgown, which has an elasticized bodice to support that bursting bust, or Her Enchanted Dreams nightie.

Comfortable but cute panties are hard to come by when you're dealing with a pregnant belly. Luckily, Hanky Panky makes maternity panties! The Hanky Panky Maternity Thong, shown below, is super comfy with no pulling, riding up, or rolling down. These also come in a brief, if you don't feel like rocking a thong with your pregnancy body. The only drawback is the somewhat high price: $22.
Motherhood Maternity makes a more affordable knockoff: a three-pack costs only $12.98. Some of the reviews complain about the panties rolling down, but the price seems worth it for a few months.
Hot Milk also makes adorable French Knickers, like this lacy midnight panty with just enough stretchy microfiber to accommodate that growing rump. For $15.30, you can't go wrong.
Another site that's definitely worth a look is Eve Alexander, devoted exclusively to nursing bras and maternity lingerie. I'm not sure I'd be wearing jeweled stilettos with my swollen feet like this sultry model, but this full-coverage, underwire-free nursing bra is red hot! And only $19.99.
Even better news is that some Eve Alexander styles are available at Target, which also sells my favorite cheap nursing bra: this underwire black lace number by Gilligan & O'Malley for $16.99. Not only is it comfortable and a true-to-size fit, it really gives the girls a lift! That's good news for everyone.
As you can see, maternity lingerie doesn't have to be matronly and there are some affordable options out there. Men -- if you're reading this and you haven't gotten your lady a Valentine's Day gift -- get thee to a store now!
