Congratulations, a brand new baby is born! Complete with a snap mouth, and a snap-on, twisted-cord umbilical cord, with attached placenta-blob.
Once you've clamped the umbilical cord and removed it (unless you're going for Lotus Birth, and then leave it on!), and put on baby's custom cloth diaper, baby needs to eat. Fortunately, Mom's nipples are the other side of the snap, so baby can "latch on" with ease! Don't you wish real breastfeeding was that simple?
And when baby's all done being born, diapered, and fed, Mom can strap baby in the custom Rebozo wrap or ring sling and wear baby. And if baby gets hungry? No worries! The mom's clothes all have discreet breastfeeding slits!
Honestly, I'm torn between finding it rather weird and finding these entirely brilliant. After getting over my initial shock, I'm leaning towards brilliant. I want my kids to think of breastfeeding and birth as totally natural, and what better way than to even include it as a normal thing for play? I like the breastfeeding aspect especially, since I don't give my daughter bottles to feed her dolls with.

I think its a nice learning lesson for a child that inquisitive but not something I'd want them playing with all the time.
. My sons are 9 and 6. I have a 9 month old daughter and am 28 weeks pregnant for twin daughters. I wouldn't buy this for any of them. Yes, birth and breast feeding should be a natural process and girls should know what a placenta is, but that's what they've got their mothers to teach them for. It's just weird to have a doll to do that. I wouldn't buy the pregnant Barbie either.
I think I like it more in the sense of it being an educational tool... But I have to wonder, why would I be opposed to it as a regular doll for my daughter? Birth and breastfeeding is nothing to be ashamed of, so why would it be "weird" to promote that?
I grew up playing with a doll that had a detailed placenta and it went with a fabric pelvis. My mom used it for teaching her birthing classes. I don't see this as a big deal and I love the fact that it breast feeds!
I love this! My toddler would go bonkers for this! She loved learning about birthing and she nurses all her animals and dolls. But that is an expensive doll! :o
I remember being a kid, maybe 7 or 8, and playing with my little pony and barbies....we'd pretend they were having babies lol!
