Checking the mandatory box for models and actresses these days, a pregnant and very naked Miranda Kerr graces the pages of December's W magazine.
Her portrait, however, is completely nude -- no strategically placed hands over the breasts, just her in her full pregnant glory.
She looks amazing, and it's the perfect illustration as she talks about how the baby will change her life.
Some, of course, are offended by the pictures and just don't like the idea of pregnant women being sexy at all. But they better get used to it, because it's apparently the thing to do.
Take a look at the other hot mamas who have posed nude for magazines in recent years:
Demi Moore started the trend 20 years ago when she posed for Vanity Fair in 1991 and caused quite the controversy at the time. She paved the path for all the nude mamas to follow.

Cindy Crawford did it for W:

Christina Aguilera made her mark on Marie Claire:

Britney Spears bared it all for Bazaar:

And on and on ...
If women feel sexy and beautiful when they're pregnant, then why not show that body off to the world? Pregnancy is the most beautiful, incredible result of our sexuality, so why shouldn't it be showcased?
What do you think of celebrities who pose nude while pregnant -- beautiful or distasteful?

I think it's wonderful and beautiful! I also think her quote is awesome. It's refreshing to hear she's not only concerned with getting back to model size and work asap. :)
I think it's beautiful. Pregnant women are so feminine and gorgeous.
This doesn't bother me for some reason, but Kim Kardashian's (sp?) W shoot did bother me. Not sure what the difference is to me, but there is a difference.
I don't think there's anything sexy about being pregnant. Call me crazy, but that huge belly, and ever changing nipples just don't do it for me on the sexy scale. Sure, if you're airbrushed enough anything looks sexy, so does slapping it on the cover of a magazine and having a team of people spending hours on end to make you look like that.
These moms aren't throwing on their best come hither face (Okay, maybe Christina, but has her face every said anything but Come Hither?), and I don't think any of them were aiming for sexy. Not wearing PJ's and eating cake icing out of the can in a dark kitchen at 3:00 am, maybe, but not sexy. I think it is (and always has been) about taking ownership of your body even when you're not exactly the one controlling it anymore.
i think is pretty, women do it all the time, they just let everyone see it all.
