Fall is such a great time of year to be pregnant. Gone is the sweltering summer heat, and the cozy rich fabrics and textures of the season's fashions feel rich and nurturing.

Plus, the less-revealing styles are welcome if you're a little uncomfortable in your new, swelling body.

But that doesn't mean fall is time to dress your bump like a frump. There are plenty of sexy, sassy looks out there to keep you stylish.

Here are five of my favorite looks for the season:

1.  3/4-Sleeve Dress (shown above)

This lightweight dress is great alone with sandals while temperatures still remain warm, or layered with a cardigan, tights, and boots as temperatures drop. The black and white pattern makes it perfect to perk up with a variety of colorful accessories.

2. A Great Coat

You may think your regular coat will do, but when it's time to really button up, you'll likely find yourself with a mid-section chill. I love this maternity coat with the ruffled collar. It's simple, but special at the same time.

3. Asymmetrical Tunic

With leggings or skinny jeans of almost any texture or color, this tunic is perfect and has STAPLE written all over it.

4. Skinny Jeans

You may not feel skinny, but pregnancy is a great time to rock this trend because the volume of most maternity tops is a perfect complement.

5. A Great Sweater

The perfect layering piece to throw over some of your basics. It's easy to take on and off as needed, and I love the horizontal stripes no matter who says women shouldn't wear them. Flaunt them!

What are your favorite maternity looks for this fall? Which of these would you be mostly likely to wear?
