Baby shower shopping is one of my favorites, and with a preference for unique gifts that help support mompreneuers, I always hit up Etsy first.
I don't know why I've never plugged the keyword "baby shower" into their search engine before, but I did last week.
And I was surprised by the sheer amount of gift bag goodies that came up.
At a party that's all about bringing gifts for a new baby, are goodie bags really that big a deal for a baby shower?
Although they seem to be called "favors" when you're above the age of 12, the web is brimming with gift bag ideas for the shower.
A few of my favorites (in addition to the "she's about to pop" bags, above right):
Cupcake soaps ($24 for 15) can be purchased in any color that fits your theme -- and your guests won't gain an ounce. Perfect for moms who could use a little pampering time.
Wildflower packets ($1) are a green way to honor new life sprouting inside mom -- and out in your garden.
Onesie cookies ($18 for 36) are so cute I don't care how they taste -- I don't think I could eat one.
Did you traditionally have a take-home gift bag at a baby shower?
