strawberries i hate them now i did before pregnanacy but the whole 9 mmonths i went through a pound of strawberies a week and only drank stawberry milk or straberry lemonaide and ate strawberry icecream its was nuts
SALT! I need salt and sodium packed things, when the craving hits. I also need my cherry coke. Never drank soda until I was pregnant with my son, the craving continued through breastfeeding and since I am currently breastfeeding and 16weeks pregnant, the craving is still here ;) But salt for me is the worst! I blow up like a balloon ;)
I had garlic dills and chocolate ice cream a couple of days ago, alternating bites. My husband got home just as I was finishing and I looked at him a little shamefacedly and said, "I hate being a cliche!"
The first thing I reach for, otherwise, is meat or rice and beans or any other protein I can get my hands on; in contrast, the first trimester had me eschewing ALL meat. I ate tofu, which grossed my husband out big time, lol. (That was just a bonus)
Baby carrots are beautiful too though-- and they are great with or without dip. And salt and vinegar potato chips are hugely satisfying. Just about anything with vinegar, really...
I guess I have all your listed cravings, truly; I cannot pick just one, which is horrifying. I had a dream last night of the doc telling me if I gained any more weight, I could not have my baby. Lol... I think I might be nervous about my 2nd trimester heifer-check, coming next week. ;)
It changes to what I'm lacking. For the first trimester it was the typical salt cravings to get my blood voume up. Then, it was MEAT for the end of the first and beginning of the second trimesters. Since then it's been watermelon because I'm unable to get enough water in myself. I still have the usual cravings for sweets (after the nausea stopped I went on a donut binge) but I'm fighting them now.
All I wanted was ICE. I ALWAYS had a cup of ice with me wherever I went! And I would crave different ice from a particular friend or family members house. Like my craving would come on and I'd be like, "Oh I need to go to Jessica's house and get some ice" or th funniest, "Honey, we need to go to your bosses house to get a cup of ice" And we'd show up at my boyfriends bosses house all the time just to grab some ice lol
I love heavy meals during my pregnancy, i love to eat chicken, patties and grilled fish... but since my doctor said it won't be good for the baby, I stopped... He then told me to go for an oatmeal diet... I hate him !!!LOLs

I know this is weird and strange as all ever, but with my last pregnancy (6 yrs ago), all I craved was "ONIONS".
Strange I know, but all I wanted was onions - onins - onions.
I had to have it on every thing besides desserts.
I had onions sun up to sun down.
My hubby became an expert with cooking onions in meals. LOL
I was one satisfied Mommy with bad breath. hehehehe
Mine was blueberry waffels with peanut butter and honey .
