- Missouri passed a bill allowing a pregnant women to kill anyone who threatens the life of their unborn child. There are a few rules to follow, of course, like the pregnant woman can't be the "aggressor" and the victim can't be a cop, but other than that, shoot away. - Severely overweight women -- and that's about a third of all women of childbearing age in the U.S. -- may want to consider weight loss surgery before getting pregnant to cut down on complications. Obese women have a higher risk of cesareans, diabetes and high blood pressure. A study found that bariatric surgery reduced the risk of these problems. -- Guardian
