"When you have your baby with HypnoBirthing, you will not be in a trance or a sleep. What you will experience is similar to the daydreaming, or focusing, that occurs when you are engrossed in a book or a movie or staring into a fire."
Wow, that sounds like going on a vacation, not giving birth. I wonder if I should get pregnant again?
The Stir's Michele considered hypnobirthing, too, though she had a change of birth plan at the last minute.
There are four HypnoBirthing Techniques:
- Breathing -- both during pregnancy and birth
- Relaxation -- incorporates breathing and massage
- Visualization -- allows your mind to be calm and your body will follow
- Deepening -- takes all of the above and allows you to release further into total relaxation
Much as like to believe it, I just can't imagine reading a bestseller as I was pushing out my babies, or daydreaming about that new baking pan I saw the other day at Williams-Sonoma. I'm just not that focused in anything. I think it takes a certain type of person to try it, and I hope it works for Tiffani.
Would you consider hypnobirthing?
