'Apprentice' Clip Shows Trump Firing a Woman for 'Locker Room' Talk -- LOL, OK

Donald Trump fires apprentice contestant

Our jaws have been dropping for days in response to all the recent sh*t that our Republican nominee, Donald Trump, has said in the past week or so. No, really. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does. So it's no surprise that in the aftermath of his 2005 comments about being able to "grab" women "by the pu**y" -- comments that he's since written off as "locker room talk" -- we've only seen more of his true colors. And the footage released of Trump firing a female contestant on a 2010 episode of The Apprentice for what he called (at the time) "locker room" language is especially telling.

Maria Kanellis is the contestant in question, and her commentary was nowhere near as vulgar or offensive as what the world recently heard from Trump. Not even close. She was commenting on the smell after someone "took a crap" in the women's dressing room, which, to us, sounds like a reasonable enough complaint.

You can hear Kanellis in the clip telling another contestant, "The reason why I said you were so arrogant was because you came in our dressing room and you took a crap and left the stench in the room."

Ironically, Trump wasn't having it. He decided to fire her for treating his board room like a locker room.

In light of finding out that he's fired people for words much milder than his own, I have no choice but to draw the only and the obvious conclusion -- he's a sexist pig.

OK, so maybe that's not the most elaborate explanation. But honestly, what's left to say about this guy? He's shown us his true colors time and time again, but somehow, it took this long for us to collectively decide that he was a chauvinistic, arrogant, and awful human being.

His entitlement has somehow allowed him to believe that carrying out this double standard is all right. It's allowed him to believe that we're willing to accept his behavior because he's rich and famous and simply exists.

Trump is arrogance at its finest, but then again, we knew all of that already. Right?

On the bright side, I do think that he's having trouble keeping up with all his bullsh*t. From what we can see, it seems that his words (from the campaign and beyond) are now backfiring as he attempts to defend his actions. He blamed his language in the 2005 Access Hollywood video on "locker room talk," probably without even remembering that he had fired a woman for what he considers to be the same type of jargon -- because that's sort of what happens when you get caught up in a web of lies.

Either way, I really should thank him for alienating some voters who've held out oh-so-long for him and his campaign. His actions and his hypocrisy have opened many eyes, and for that, I can't help but be thankful.
