News Anchor Loses It On Air Because He No Longer Wants to Keep Up With the Kardashians (VIDEO)

john brownJust because millions of fans are hungry for all the latest Kardashian news doesn't mean the people bringing that news to the masses are particularly excited about it. Case in point: John Brown, a Florida news anchor who just had an epic Kardashian-fueled meltdown on the air!

Brown was just doing his thing, trying to get through an episode of Good Day Orlando on Friday (and a story about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's wedding in particular), when he noticed on the teleprompter that the next story was about Kylie Jenner's new bunny. That's when he lost it.

"I'm having a good Friday so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today. You are on your own, Amy," he said, addressing his cohost.

"I've had enough Kardashians! I've had enough Kardashians on this show! I don't care! I'm sick of this family! It's a non-story!" he continued.

"We are talking about this family every freaking day on this show. Nobody cares about this family anymore! I've had enough! I want to have a good Friday, I don't want to talk about the Kardashians anymore."

Brown even stormed off the set, though he did return to his spot on the couch after calming down. Check it out:

Undeniably hilarious. Brown even seemed to think so, because he shared his meltdown on Facebook later, saying it was "partially in jest."

I'm sure it was partially in jest, but I'm sure it was more honest than anything else. After all, this poor guy probably went to journalism school thinking he was gonna cover politics and foreign affairs and hard news, and here he is: sitting on a couch, talking about an 18-year-old millionaire's fluffy new bunny. That's enough to push anybody over the edge, especially when you consider that there's literally a new Kardashian-themed story every day we media types find ourselves obliged to cover. And even for those of us who find the Kardashians entertaining, the realization that you're getting paid to comment on, say, what a certain reality star had for breakfast is definitely one of those "Wait, do I need to reevaluate my life?" moments. So I can say with some degree of certainty that bloggers, journalists, and newscasters the world over were secretly cheering Brown on when he had his freakout -- I daresay even the Kardashians themselves would find the whole thing funny. I mean, seriously -- they must be kind of sick of hearing of themselves at this point!

Maybe if it had been anything but a segment about Kylie's bunny. Because if anything was ever a "non-story," that's it!
