Donald Trump Thinks Breastfeeding Is Disgusting: That'll Win Him the Mom Vote

Where to even begin with this story? How about -- Donald Trump never ceases to amaze me with his unique talent to come across as a complete and total tool. During a 2011 deposition, Trump told a breastfeeding mom that she was "disgusting" when she asked for a break to pump for her 3-month-old daughter.

After hours of being grilled over a lawsuit involving a failed Florida real estate venture, in which he told lawyer Elizabeth Beck that her questions were "very stupid," the 2016 presidential candidate apparently threw a fit when she asked for a medical break to pump breast milk for her infant daughter.

Trump demanded that the deposition continue, but Ms. Beck insisted that it was urgent, and even took out her breast pump to make a point. That's when the real estate tycoon exclaimed, "You're disgusting," a declaration that neither side disputed. He then allegedly walked out of the room, and the testimony for the day was concluded.

Later, Trump's lawyer Alan Garten claimed that Ms. Beck's attempt to pump breast milk was just a stalling tactic, and "was in no way a statement about her decision to breastfeed or pump."

Although it seems pretty clear that Beck did nothing other than take the breast pump out to display it for a point, Garten said, "It was solely the fact that she was appearing to do it in the middle of a deposition."

He continued, "In my 20 years of legal practice, I've never seen more bizarre behavior at a deposition. That is what led to his remark."

Yes, because that's exactly what's on every breastfeeding mom's mind -- I can't wait to use my pump as an excuse for some diabolical plot! Muahahahaha! I'm going to get him good, with nothing but the power of my lactating breasts!

Ugh. Could Donald Trump be any more self-involved if he tried? This poor woman's boobs were probably bursting, plus I'm sure she was not enjoying being called an idiot by him for trying to defend her clients (can we say bully?), and she just needed to pump so she could provide some food for her daughter.

The only thing Trump's little tantrum over a breast pump accomplished was highlighting how completely out of touch he is with moms, and probably women in general. And human beings, I'm pretty sure. He needs to bow out of the race before he embarrasses himself even further. As if that were possible.
