Megyn Kelly Schools Mike Huckabee on 'Trashy' Women (VIDEO)

megyn kelly mike huckabeeFox News' The Kelly File host Megyn Kelly schooled Mike Huckabee, politician and former Governor of Arkansas, big time. Huckabee made some disparaging remarks about women, calling some women "trashy" perhaps because they don't fit into his style that is Guns, God, Grits, and Gravy (also the name of his book).

Huckabee has an issue with ladies like Miley Cyrus and thinks we should all be like Goldie Hawn from the '70s. On a radio show earlier this week, he had some choice words for the women of New York. He said:

In the South, or in the Midwest, there in Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the F-bomb or use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting. In New York, not only do the men do it, but the women. My gosh, this is worse than locker-room talk. As we would say in the South, that's just trashy.

My gosh, Mike. So it's okay for men, but not for women? I see what you're saying here. I'm no fan of potty mouths -- on men or women. But I'm also not a fan of making gross assumptions based on a little visit to the big city. Just because someone says f*ck, it doesn't mean they are trash.

Megyn, a New Yorker and my new favorite Fox News Channel host (not that I had one before), listened to Mike go on for a few minutes before giving him the business. With elegance, she said:

I do have news for you before I let you go. We are not only swearing. We're drinking, we're smoking, we're having premarital sex with birth control, before we go to work and sometimes boss around a bunch of men.

Huckabee, noticeably uncomfortable, responded, "I just don't want to hear that." Perhaps because he still has that antiquated and unjust way of thinking that a woman belongs in the kitchen without a voice or a say. She is there to bear the children, and when she speaks, only words that sound like flowers come out. God forbid she shakes her hips or peppers her words with four-letter ones. It's also bothersome that Mike seems to think only women from NYC curse. I've been to quite a few states and heard many obscenities from the ladies. Maybe all the hustle bustle of the big city was too much for him.

Megyn Kelly, thanks for basically telling Huckabee to STFU.

What do you think of Kelly's response to Huckabee?
