Michelle Obama Is Too Fat, According to Boorish Fox News Host (VIDEO)

Michelle ObamaLet me preface this by saying that I am not now, nor have I ever been a big fan of Michelle Obama's, or her Let's Move program to fight childhood obesity. What can I say -- I'm a Republican who values community over federal involvement.

That being said. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to go on national television and criticize the First Lady of the United States of America for being fat. Yeah, so that happened. Fox News commentator Keith Ablow stopped by Outnumbered on Tuesday, and questioned the wisdom of a hefty lady like Michelle O. giving healthy eating tips to kids.

Open mouth, insert foot, I'm sure. The 52-year-old psychiatrist may have been trying to make a joke or something, but the rude comment did not go over well.

On a panel discussing Michelle Obama's school lunch program, Ablow flat out said, "And how well could she be eating? She needs to drop a few."

After much gasping, another panelist said, "You did not say that," to which he responded again, "No let's be honest ... who are we taking nutrition advice from? There's no french fries happening? That's all kale and carrots? I don't buy it."

Dude. DUDE. That's not only rude, it's just untrue. Granted, I don't know Mrs. Obama's BMI or cholesterol levels, but she seems like she's a pretty normal, healthy weight. It's just lazy arguing to attack her figure, which is perfectly fine.

With everything these is to say about the school lunches -- like how the kids are refusing to eat them because they taste like vomit -- there was no reason to criticize Michelle O.'s weight.

Skip to just past the one-minute mark to see the sparks fly.

Do you think this guy was totally off base, or could Michelle Obama afford to drop a few?
