Woman Calls Obama the N-Word & Gives Idiotic Interview Defending Her Position (VIDEO)

denise helmsThere are some days when I think to myself, self, this country ain't so bad. We got (some) healthcare, we got (some good) roads, and we got toilets. But whenever I start to feel OK about being an American, something like Denise Helms happens. You see, this 22-year-old California woman decided it was cool on Facebook to call Obama the "N" word and express her desire that someone finally assassinate him this term.

LOL, right? Wrong. The only person who's laughing is Denise, who was actually idiotic brave enough to follow up her Facebook rant with an interview in which she, ya know, stood by her words. Then she took to social media again, after the interview, to reinforce her views. Face palm. Here's what she had to say:

The first thing she wrote on her now debunk Facebook page was:

Another 4 years of this (N-word). Maybe he will get assassinated this term

Then she told Fox 40:

I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. The assassination part is kind of harsh. I'm not saying like I would go do that or anything like that, by any means, but if it was to happen, I don't think I'd care one bit.

And finally followed that up with this Facebook post:

So apparently my post last night about Obama got onto Twitter and Fox 40 came and interviewed me cause apparently a lot of people in Sacramento think I'm crazy and racist. WOW is all I got to say!! I'm not racist and I'm not crazy. just simply stating my opinion.!!!

Denise, who was an employee at a Turlock, California Cold Stone Creamery, has been fired from her job after community outrage. The manager of the ice cream shop says that he found Denise's comments disgusting and that her values do not align with the company's.

The Secret Service is looking into Denise's posts -- you can't just go around wishing the POTUS dead -- but poor Denise, she doesn't think she did anything wrong. She thinks she was just stating her opinion.

News flash, Denise. Yes, the First Amendment grants you freedom of speech, but it doesn't necessarily protect you from the consequences of what you say. Also? It's best to not threaten the President, since, yeah, that's illegal. And lastly? If you wanna use the "N" word and wish someone dead, it's probably wise not to do that on Facebook. Or anywhere. Period.

There is a silver lining, however. After receiving death threats over her comment, Denise says she would take it all back if she could.

Can you believe this?
