Whitney Heichel Murder Details Are Too Chilling to Bear (VIDEO)

Whitney HeichelThe Whitney Heichel murder case is horribly disturbing and just keeps getting worse. New details have emerged about her alleged abductor and murderer, and it's just maddening, to say the least.

The 21-year-old Heichel, an Oregon-based Starbucks barista, was on the way to her job when suspect Jonathan Holt -- a neighbor and member of the same church -- allegedly took her, sexually assaulted her, and shot her "multiple" times.

Holt, 24, a married neighbor of Heichel who took care of Heichel's plants when she was out of town, is a member of the same Jehovah's Witness church. Of course, allegedly knowing how it happened doesn't answer WHY it happened. See below:

How on Earth could anyone do this to a friend? How could they do this to someone they knew? Heichel's final moments keep running through my head.

Did she think she was OK because she knew him? Did she think he would do what he did?

Holt was arrested after a series of interviews reportedly didn't add up and they found his fingerprints and DNA in her recovered car. It looks pretty damning, but you never know what happens at trial.

Stranger abductions are terrifying. They make us look at the world differently and wonder just how many sickos there are out and about. But when it's someone a woman knows, it's almost scarier.

How long was he plotting this? Watching her? Thinking these nefarious thoughts while she smiled nicely?

Sure, he is innocent until proven guilty. We don't know how this will end. But what we know now is pretty scary. We have to be so careful who we trust.

Does this make you question who you trust?
