Ex-NFL Cheerleader Pleads Guilty to Sex With Teen & Then Keeps Dating Him (VIDEO)

sarah jonesRemember the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader accused of having sex with a high school student? Well, Sarah Jones has pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and custodial interference. She took a plea bargain in exchange for a slap on the wrist: A five-year "diversion" that includes drug tests and visits with a probation officer but no jail time. First-degree sexual assault would have gotten her up to five years in jail.

It helped Jones that the teenager she had sex with wouldn't cooperate with the prosecution. Apparently there are no hard feelings. In fact, now that's he's legal (18 years old), they're free to be a couple. The two reportedly left court together, hand-in-hand.

So there you go. Is it true love? Were they just star-crossed lovers separated by nine years and THE LAW? And what's in it for him to stand by his woman, anyway? I wonder if he just felt special because a grown woman noticed his extra-manliness and picked him to prey upon. Sorry, that came out wrong. Picked him to seduce. Too much?

These two met when he was a high school freshman, which just gives me the willies. Most teen boys are still struggling to emerge from puberty at that age. They're under-done, like a half-roasted chicken. Let me guess: He was "RLLY MATURE for his age."

At least Jones isn't teaching anymore. She won't have to register as a sex offender (I guess that's fair-ish), but I hope there's something on her record that will alert a school should she ever try to get a teaching job again. But that's not likely -- apparently Jones is applying to law school. Oh my head! I cannot even take that one in. LAW SCHOOL. For a woman who had sex with her student. Maybe she wants to change statutory rape laws.

How long do you think Jones' relationship with her student will last?
