Mitt Romney Wishes Airplane Windows Rolled Down (VIDEO)

mitt romneyOver the weekend, Ann Romeny's plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Colorado after smoke from an electrical fire filled the cabin, but the situation could have easily been avoided if the aircraft was simply equipped with windows that roll down. At least, that's the suggestion her husband Mitt offered. You know, the guy running for President of the United States.

After a campaign fundraiser on Monday, Romney told the LA Times that he was glad his wife was safe and sound after the incident -- but he didn't stop there (though he really should have). Romney continued: "When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly. And you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem."

It is a real problem, guys. But you know what else is? Dying!

The reason plane passengers are relegated to recycled air and a stuffy atmosphere while flying is because there isn't enough oxygen at cruising altitude to keep human beings alive (is there something you want to tell us, Mitt?). Hence, the reason for oxygen masks.

But perhaps Mitt knows something about the physics of flight the rest of us, or 47 percent of us at least, don't. Maybe if he's elected, he'll unveil an unbelievable scientific breakthrough that will allow fresh breezes to waft through the cabins while we're relaxing at 30,000 feet. He might even rally to get screens put in, get a nice cross ventilation going.

Personally, I can't think of anything that sounds more refreshing when you're going 600 MPH.

Enjoy this little video, and um, want to weigh in, guys?
