Woman Charged With Violent Assault With a Deadly ... Seashell? (VIDEO)

woman stabs seashellThis is possibly the worst date you'll ever read about. A woman in Florida was out with a man, had a few drinks, then allegedly got rowdy, and not in a good way. After trying to relax with a night on the town, she became stressed over an upcoming court case -- for a battery charge -- and that's when the violence began. According to police reports, she and the man were at her Port St. Lucie apartment when she stabbed the guy four times with a seashell, then bit his ear.

It all took place around 3 a.m. and Wher bit the man's ear in the bedroom before puncturing him in the shoulder with a conch-like seashell. Now, Patricia Wehr, 40, is behind bars and faces charges for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

There are three things we can take away from this little incident, besides the obvious, which is that this shit cray if it's true.

Number one. Do not aggravate anyone who has a pending court appearance for a battery charge. They probably don't want to hear about it, and if you bring it up, you might be in for a world of hurt. They have a history of violence, after all.

Number two. Give your dental hygienist a sidelong glance. Wehr was most upset that her mandated appearance would interfere with her job as a dental hygienist, proving that people who wield sharp tools near your mouth and gums may not be as stable as they appear.

Number three. Seashells can be dangerous. Your kids are bringing buckets and buckets of deadly weapons home with them from your beach vacation. Since the seashell was classified as such, you gotta watch out for them. Sure, your kids say that they just want to keep them in a glass jar on their bureau, but really they're planning on using the armament for sibling warfare.

Hopefully Wher's outburst has taught us a thing or two. And hey. Keep an eye on those conchs if you know what's good for you.
