Charles Manson Hasn't 'Softened' & Does NOT Deserve Parole (PHOTO)

charles mansonCharles Manson in June, 2011I'm all for second chances, but parole for Charles Manson? How about ... NO NO NO. I don't care if he is 77 years old, or if in recently released pictures, it seems like the murderer's "crazy-eyed stare has lost its edge." He's Charles Freaking Manson, one of the most notorious serial killers of all time!! Parole?!

The parole hearing set for later this month will actually be Manson's 12th, and, just like the first 11 times it happened, Manson's bid is expected to be denied. Not surprisingly, the "Helter Skelter" psycho's behavior behind bars isn't what you'd call exemplary. He was refused parole in 2007 because, according to the board's assessment, he continued "to pose an unreasonable danger to others and may still bring harm to anyone he would come in contact with."

No, really??

And apparently old age hasn't slowed him down much, because in the 5 years since his 11th hearing, Manson threatened a security guard, was discovered with a "sharpened pen weapon" (who the hell thought it was a good idea to give Charles Manson a pen?!), and was caught with a forbidden cellphone.

So, Charles Manson is still crazy even with the wrinkles and Santa Claus beard (still has that swastika tattoo on his forehead!). I think we all knew that. What I don't know is why they even bother with these parole hearings. I mean, I get that he was sentenced to "life with a chance of parole" back in 1977 when California declared the death penalty (his original sentence) unconstitutional, so I'm assuming it's just a formality and the system is legally required to go through the motions.

But it seems like a huge waste of time and effort. I mean, come on. He's Charles Freaking Manson!

Do you think Charles Manson deserves a parole hearing?
