Mega Millions 'Winner' Tells the World Where the Ticket Is Hidden (VIDEO)

mega millionsAnd the Mega Millions Mystery Plot thickens. So, you know how there's this woman who lives in Maryland, Mirlande Wilson, who's claiming she won the jackpot? The huge, huge jackpot? And you know how she's claiming that even though she and her co-workers went in on a bunch of tickets together, she bought the winning ticket on her own, separate from everybody else? Yeah, well, now she's gone and hired herself a lawyer. And she still is refusing to produce the actual winning ticket, saying that it's hidden at the McDonald's where she works.

Seems like a rock-solid case to me!

First of all -- first of all -- did these coworkers who went in on the biggest lottery jackpot ever really not make photocopies of the tickets, like everyone advises? Or, at the very least, did not a solitary one of them write the g.d. numbers down somewhere? The back of a receipt for chrissake? We're talking $640 million here. This isn't the time to cut corners.

Second of all, I kinda think Ms. Wilson is lying. Yeah, I said it. She's claiming she won the lottery -- with a ticket she bought separate from the tickets bought in the office pool. That's the scandal right there! That's the thing that's going to get everyone all litigious on her ass! Why not produce the dang thing already? And why tell the whole world where the ticket is hidden? If I were her coworkers, I'd be tearing that McDonald's to shreds right now, trying to find it.

Seems to me like this could possibly be a case of somebody wanting their 15 minutes. And this 15 minutes doesn't necessarily preclude her lawyer who recently said, "I have not seen the ticket, nor do I want to see the ticket." It's, like, come on, people, just show the winning ticket and let's get on with it. It's going to be a long, ugly battle regardless.
