Outrageous Airline Forces Plane Passengers to Hand Over Cash Mid-Flight

plane passengersI think it's time we all just move within driving distance of the ones we love and call it a day because really? Flying is getting absurd. ABsurd. Take this flight from India to England. While en route, the crew demanded each passenger to fork over $200. Can you believe it? We thought we had it rough with our cramped seats and baggage fees, these people were essentially held hostage and forced to hand over hard-earned cash! I'm flabbergasted!

And if you're thinking like I did, Well joke's on that airline because the day I have $200 cash in my wallet is the day hell freezes over, no. We wouldn't have been spared. At a layover, they made people go to the ATM and take out dough. Gah!

There's some finger pointing going on regarding who's to blame for this mess, but lord almighty I hope whoever's responsible gets a good lashing! No one's even sure why the money was collected! The reasons range from fees to fuel charges! I'm using a lot of exclamation points because I cannot believe this! Sorry!

Sigh. The airlines have gotten out of control. It's a worldwide mess that someone needs to please clean up. I nominate NeNe Leakes for the job -- she seems like she gets things done.

You know at some point, a line has to be drawn. I am SHOCKED there wasn't a mutiny on that plane. Things could've gotten bloody real quick, but it didn't. Though I bet that won't always be the case -- as airlines keep sucking the life out of our souls and as tensions mount over holiday travel, there's bound to be an epic Airline vs. Customer showdown.

The airlines have us by the gonads and all we can do is suck it up and squeeze ourselves and our one personal item into a seat and hope for the best. From outrageous fees to delays to unruly flight attendants to now hitting up the passengers for cash, things have gone from bad to worse. I've got an 8 a.m. flight tomorrow. Wish me luck.

What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you on a plane?
