Of all the tragic stories that came after the attacks on 9/11, the stories from those final moments aboard Flight 93 are some of the most heroic but heart-wrenching tales. The Flight 93 story, which has been pieced together from cockpit recordings and cell phone calls from the passengers aboard, ended in a crash in this western Pennsylvania field after the brave crew and passengers attempted to regain control of the plane taken over by terrorists aboard.

Tomorrow, in honor of the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 and the unveiling of the first phase of the Flight 93 National Memorial, a dedication ceremony will be held. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, as well as Vice President Joe Biden, will be speaking in honor of the 40 men and women who gave their lives to save others that day a decade ago -- our heroes.

Also at this special tribute and joining the families of the 40 Flight 93 passengers and crew who died on Sept. 11, 2001, will be Speaker of the House John Boehner and former first lady Laura Bush. Singer Sarah McLachlan will perform at the ceremony, which will be broadcast live by the History Channel.

The first phase of completed construction includes a Memorial Plaza built in front of the crash site and a beautiful Field of Honor, which looks to be a stunning and peaceful memorial overlooking in the strangely beautiful natural setting that became these victims' final resting place. The next phases of the memorial project are set to include Large Memorial Walls, 40 Memorial Groves of Trees, and a 93-foot Tower of Voices.

The Flight 93 National Memorial sounds like the perfect site to honor those fallen in the crash of Flight 93. That crew and those passengers fought back with all their might in order to steer the terrorists away from their more populated target. Who knows how many lives they saved that day in exchange for their own? Let us remember.

Will you watch the Flight 93 Memorial Dedication tomorrow?
