Thousands of Panties Found Along Ohio Road (VIDEO)

panties in ohioIf you've inexplicably lost a pair of panties or thousand recently, I think I know where you can find them. Officials in central Ohio are trying to figure out why about 3,000 pairs of used and unused panties have been found along a mile-long stretch of road about 30 miles east of Columbus. Mostly women's underwear, at that. From thongs to briefs to boy shorts, all shapes, colors, and sizes of underwear were found abandoned on a Fairfield County highway.

So what gives? Personally I think it's pretty clear that the underwear fairy accidentally dropped her sack before making the delivery at a nearby Target, but police have another theory.

They think it's trash thrown out by local discount stores and, get this ... grocery stores. Now I've been known to buy some in-a-pinch underoos from my local CVS, but a grocery store? Never seen "Ladies' Panties" on one of the signs that hang over the wide, well-lit aisles. Anyway, moving on.

So the cops are clearly pretty pissed. They've had to pick up the estimated 1,500 to 3,000 panties and stuff them into 10 large garbage bags. Here's what Jim Carmichael, a township trustee, had to say:

I came up and looked for myself and after I got here, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. We're just looking at it like somebody has done this and we want to find out who done it.

I say whoever is responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I hate litterbugs! Especially litterbugs with a ton of underwear on their hands. Let's have the culprit wash and dry each pair by hand, then either dispose of them properly or donate them to those in need of panties. Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears come to mind.
