Nancy Reagan's Tumble Isn't Funny, But These Public Figures' Falls Are (VIDEOS)

nancy reagan Marco RubioFormer First Lady Nancy Reagan took a tumble Tuesday night while walking down the aisle at a Republican event at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. Luckily, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was there to catch her and escort her safely to her seat. Reports say Reagan is fine, but in the meantime, the video of her fall is making its way around the Internet. If it were up to me, I'd keep that footage under wraps simply because it's difficult to watch and there's something sad and shameful about watching a 90-year-old woman who's not in the best of health take a spill in public. It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's not even newsworthy -- it's just really, really uncomfortable.

Now, these other videos of public figures falling down are an entirely different story. Let's take a look ...

Have I made my point? There are plenty of hilarious and/or newsworthy videos of public figures falling down. The one of Nancy Reagan? Yeah, it isn't one of them.
