Ladies, watch your backsides, there's a serial butt slasher on the loose. From the mall to a local discount retailer, at least six women have likely fallen victim to this crazy ass criminal on the loose in Virginia. Who knows how many others have been slashed and just didn't realize that the cut in their pants or nick on their rear was actually the work of some sicko with a knife and a bizarre fetish.

The latest case involved a woman innocently shopping at a T.J. Maxx in Fairfax Town Center, when all of a sudden, she felt a pinch. She turned around only to see a man picking up clothes from the floor. She assumed she'd been poked by a hanger or something and went on her merry way ... until she got home and saw the damage. That's when she realized she was a victim of the butt slasher.

Fortunately she wasn't seriously injured and didn't need medical attention, but I can't imagine how violated she and all the other victims felt. One of the them was even pregnant when she was slashed last February. She described what happened to NBC4:

I’m pushing the door open, and then all of sudden, he’s right there behind me, and I felt a pinch on my bottom and I thought he just grabbed me and I was like, "Hey, you just cut my leggings," and he was like, "No, no, no. It was my bag." He was carrying a little, yellow bag.

She too didn't suffer any serious medical complications, but the emotional toll was surely significant. I can imagine feeling completely uneasy in crowds forever after. I may anyway, just knowing such wackos are out there.

Why the hell would someone do this? Apparently, there's a real medical disorder called piquerism in which attackers get off from stabbing, pricking, or cutting victims with a sharp object. Police are guessing this is what's wrong with the guy.

Fortunately they have a profile of him (heavyset, Hispanic man in his late 20s around 5 feet 6 inches tall) and a possible photo (above). Hopefully they'll catch him and lock him up soon, so that women have one less reason to be worried about their asses.
